The optional "Rights Analysis" module scans authorizations based on NTFS and release/sharing information and offers the following analysis functions:
- Physical inventory and visualization of effective authorizations in one directory
- Physical inventory and visualization of inheritance blockers
- Physical inventory and visualization of directly set rights to a directory
- Output of effective rights for selected users and groups
- Interactive analysis via the Online Analysis function without prior physical inventory
- Presentation of release/sharing information, directly set, inherited and effective rights
The rights acquisition takes place concurrently via several processes. Reports can be executed per directory, computer or domain. It is possible to define the directory structure depth for the report generation.
